About the company: Nestled between Charleston and Myrtle Beach lies a gem of a place—the Waccamaw Neck, which includes Georgetown, Pawleys Island, and Litchfield. Wide beaches, sparkling rivers, ancient oaks, premier golf courses, and a rich history make this area ideal for beautiful real estate. Pawley’s Island Homes has been in the business of finding folks their ideal home since 1991. They also handle vacation rentals, long-term rentals, and commercial property sales.
Client’s vision for the project: Our client wanted to create a logo for their company revolved around the concept of an oak tree. Pawley’s Island is filled with large, beautiful oak trees that take up most of the neighborhoods. By showcasing a familiar symbol to their target audience, our client’s goal was to establish a more personal connection with their audience by adding a personal symbol of what Pawley’s Island has to offer. By using a simplified silhouette of an oak tree along with a clean-cut, serif font, we were able to establish the modern yet homey feel our client envisioned.
Where will the logo be used? The usage for the logo is intended to be versatile; being used digitally for watermarks as well as printed for business cards and direct mail pieces.
Target audience: Mainly couples between the ages of forties and sixties as well as families and retirees.
